PCS, LLC Assistant Manager/Owner

Kent House, PCS,LLC Assistant Manager/Owner FSP#580 & DD#0062 –Kent is a native Alamogordo resident and started in funeral service in 1980. He received his Funeral Director/Embalmer License in 1985. He brings many years of experience in funeral service and in the Alamogordo community, as well as the passion, commitment and flexibility to take care of people in a loving, caring and professional manner. He is married to Lisa Durrett House, and has two children and four grandchildren and has enjoyed being active in community, state and national activities: Member, Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce, Past President in 2002-2003; NM Funeral Service Association, President in 1999-2000; National Funeral Directors Association, Legislative Policy Board member 1998-2001, 2011-2017; New Mexico Funeral Service Board; White Sands Health Care Association, Zia Therapy Center Endowment Board and Human Rights Commission;  Alamogordo Rotary Club, President 2006-2007; United Way, Past Chairman; Red Cross, Past Chairman; Loco Credit Union, past Board Member; Kids Kingdom, Fundraising Chairman; and many other boards and committees.

Lisa Durrett House, J.D. #726, D.D. #70

PCS, LLC Manager/Owner

Lisa House, Owner; J.D. #726; D.D. #70 - Lisa grew up in Alamogordo and is married to Kent House. They have two grown children, and four grandchildren. Lisa has been helping people as an attorney for 38 years, her former law firm being Lisa K. Durrett, P.C., and now works primarily in their funeral homes and related businesses. Since 2000, she has attended numerous seminars, workshops and conventions related to funeral, cremation and celebration services, and is a licensed Direct Disposer. These services are a natural extension of her compassion towards and desire to help people. Member: Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce; New Mexico Bar Assn; Otero Co. Bar Assn.; P.E.O. Chapter BI; and Elks.  She has served on numerous boards, including CHINS (Children in Need of Services), the Senior Advisory Council, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and COPE (Center of Protective Environment), and others. She and her husband are strong in their faith and love to travel, cook, boat and watch their delightful grandchildren play and grow.

Connie (Sedillo) Perusse, FSP#1000, DD#71

Advance Planning and Aftercare Director

Connie Perusse, Funeral Service Practitioner #1000, Direct Disposer # 71, Advance Care Director – Connie Perusse came into funeral service in 2009 as our Preneed Specialist.  She obtained a Mortuary Science Degree from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, in 2018, becoming a Funeral Service Practitioner the same year.  Prior to funeral service, she retired from banking after nearly twenty-five years.  Connie is a native of Alamogordo, active in the community and is currently a member of the Alamogordo Rotary Club and P.E.O., Chapter BI. She is married to Mark and together they have five children and one grandchild.

Donna Salas, DD#66

PCS Operations Manager, Certified Crematory Operator

Donna Salas, DD #66 - Donna Salas was born in Camp Pendleton, California.  She moved to Milwaukee when she was six weeks old and moved to New Mexico in 1972.  She is married to Carlos Salas.  Donna has three children and two grandchildren.  She has been with us since 2004. She started managing PCS Crematory and PCS Direct Disposition Service in 2008, serving our families with detail and compassion.

Teresa Cox

Administrative Assistant

Teresa Cox, Administrative Assistant – Teresa and her husband, Rex, retired while living in Lipan, Texas. It was always their dream to move to the mountains. They had visited and enjoyed Ruidoso for years, so they bought a home here in 2016, and made their permanent move in 2018. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they weren’t really ready to retire, so they both went out to find new jobs. Teresa came to work at New Dawn Cremations in November, 2019, and found that she loves having the opportunity to help families during such a difficult time with the loss of a loved one. “We are never too busy to answer questions or help in any way that we can."

Linda Clark

Administrative Assistant

Linda Clark, Administrative Assistant - Linda was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  She completed 2 years at Texas Western College of Mines, currently UTEP, before marrying her husband, Wesley Clark, of 54 yrs.  Upon marriage in 1966, they moved to Ruidoso, NM, where she held various jobs before becoming a banker for 4 years, and then quit to start a family. They had 2 children, a boy and a girl, and when they got old enough to start school, Linda went back into banking for the next 5 years.  After leaving banking, she continued her education by working as an Independent Insurance Agent for High Country Agency for 26 years. She worked as a Personal Lines and Commercial Lines agent, which consisted of learning underwriting for 12 to 20 different insurance companies. She was also the coordinator for transferring data from hand policies to the world of “Computers - Business and Personal Computers.”  Due to health concerns with family members, she retired from insurance and stayed home to help her mom take care of her father and mother-in-law for several years.  Missing work and learning, she joined the work force again and went to work with PCS-R (Professional Crematory Services-Ruidoso), now New Dawn Cremations, in 2013.  She now works part-time, and believes that you’re "never too old to learn new things."

Michael Sedillo

Crematory Operator/Transition Provider

Michael Sedillo, Certified Crematory Operator, and Transition Provider – Michael was born in Alamogordo, NM, on January 17th, 1990, to Michael and Anita Sedillo.  Michael is the proud brother to three sisters, proud husband to Michele, and stepfather to two boys.  Michael is a Certified Crematory Operator.  He manages PCS Precious Pets and works with the Transition Team.  He is active in various organizations in Alamogordo.

Pete Nissley

Manager, Transition Team

Pete Nissley, Transition Team Supervisor - Pete was born in Banbury, England, to Steve and Carol Nissley, while they were stationed at Upper Hayford AFB.  They moved around to several Air Force bases before settling down in Alamogordo, in October of 1990. He has been a member of our staff since October of 2010. He has been an Environmental Technician for Holloman AFB since July of 2007, and has served Otero County as a Volunteer Firefighter since June of 1996. He has been a devoted husband to Angie Nissley since August of 2002. Pete and his team strive to assure our families that their loved ones will be cared for with the highest respect and dignity.


Danny Valenzuela

Transition Provider

Danny Valenzuela, Transition Provider – Danny was born in El Paso, TX, on October 15, 1956, third child of 8.  His parents immigrated to Alamogordo from Parral and Torreon, Mexico.  His father was a well-known tailor in Alamogordo, owning Danny's Tailor Shop, where Danny apprenticed with him and learned how to sew. He is a lifelong area resident.  He received his GED in 1990 and became an EMT.  He volunteered with Alamo West Fire Department.  After many years of working in construction/concrete, his education provided him with an opportunity to begin working for NASA Fire Department since 1999. He is a Firefighter, EMT, Driver Operator and HazMat Specialist. He is married to Lupe and has one son, Daniel. He has worked on the Transition Team since 2015.


Matthew Markoya

Transition Provider

Matthew Markoya, Transition Provider – Matthew moved to Alamogordo in 2016 from Connecticut, after enlisting in the Air Force as a Munitions Systems Specialist. When not working at the funeral home or with the Air Force, he spends most of his time volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician within Otero County. As a member of the Transition Team, Matthew takes pride in ensuring your loved one is well cared for during your family's difficult times.


Richard Paternoster

Transition Provider

Richard Paternoster, Transition Provider - Richard is a Michigan native who retired from the Air Force in 2015, where he earned degrees in Construction Technology and Criminal Justice, and now calls Alamogordo home.  He is married to Amanda.  He has two grown children, Wesley, who is active duty Air Force, and Cadence, who is a college student.  Richard joined the Alamogordo Funeral Home staff in March of 2019 as member of the Transition Team.
