Patricia Haze Obituary

Patricia Ann Haze (Endsley)
While always fighting like a champ, after a long illness, on May 18, 2021 Patricia is blessed to be in the presence of Jesus.

Patti was an incredible inspiration to her son Jimmy and will be missed by many of  her family members and close friends.   Patti was always the one to keep things light and exciting, and her son Jimmy intends to always carry her legacy and traditions forward.

Patti was born in Turlock, California on June 6, 1946. She was the third child of Robert (Bob) and Jacquelyn (Jackie) Haze. The family moved to the Bay Area when Patti was 5. In her early years she attended school in Castro Valley, CA., where she went on to receive her beauticians license.  Patricia was an inspiration to many. She managed A Friends House Addiction
Recovery center in Medford, Oregon in the early 2000’s. She helped many women gain their sobriety and move on to more positive Christian lives. Illness took over her life in 2008, but even from that point, she was an inspiration to those that had worked to care for her. Many have since have gone on to make their careers in the medical field, receiving their CNA Nursing degrees.

Patti is survived by her son James (wife Mary Ann) Russ II from Ruidoso, NM; grandson, James (Mac) Russ III from Brooklyn, NY.; step-grandson, Erik Siegel, Ruidoso NM.; her previous husband, (father of James II), James M. Russ, also from Ruidoso, who had became close with Patti after 40 years of being divorced; sister, Carolyn (Dede) (husband Wally) Clark from Savannah, MO.; aunt Margie Malone from Copperopolis, CA.; nephews, David (Cora) Haze from Medford, OR., Bobby (Tiffany) from Alpine, TX.; Nieces Kiara (Sabrina) Shrader from Denver, CO., Karen Guinn from Rosendale, MO., Lori Aistrope from Bellview, NE.; plus many extended nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patti was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Alan Haze; grandparents, Jonah and Barbara Haze and William and Della Keys. She especially loved her aunt Donna Rothschiller (Aunt Pat) who practically raised her after Patti’s mother passed away when she was 12.

There will be a memorial service to honor Patti on June 6th, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church located at 1120 Hull Road in Ruidoso.   Light refreshments will follow the service at the church. Please join us to remember this wonderful lady.
