Tracy Allred

Tracy Allred, 61, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was called to her eternal resting place on August 11th, 2022 with loved ones by her side.

Tracy was born on 4/24/1961 in Denver City, Tx.  Tracy spent most of her adult life in the Ruidoso/Capitan area and was a land surveyor and small business owner before retiring to spend time with and help care for some of her grandchildren. She loved to garden, do crossword and Sudoku puzzles, read, and spend time with her family and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris Jean Nowlin and James Alvis Johnson.  She is survived by her husband, Gus Allred, daughter Dustie Lee Closson and her husband Jason Jackson, and children Aubrey Nicole Closson, Johnathan Michael Cook, Kaitlyn Michelle Closson, Evan Paul Closson, Ryleigh Janelle Closson, Haley Jean Jackson; daughter Monica Jean Johnson and her son Miles Ayden Johnson; Stepson Allen Allred and his daughter Mazikeen Rachelle Flores; Her sister Donna Davis and her husband Floyd Davis, and sister Kathy Mutter.  Tracy also had several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and nieces and nephews. 

Tracy’s ashes will be laid to rest on Saturday 9/10/22 @ 4pm at Capitan Cemetery in Capitan, NM.  A celebration of her life will follow at 103 E 4th Street, Capitan NM.

The Allred family has entrusted Alamogordo Funeral Home to conduct the graveside services.
